LSU Tigers Star Speaks Out Honestly About Caitlin Clark
Indianapolis Star-USA TODAY NETW

The LSU Tigers and Iowa Hawkeyes have maintained a competitive relationship on the basketball court over the past couple of years, yet there’s a notable absence of animosity between the two programs.

During a recent appearance on “The Baller Alert Show,” LSU standout Flau’jae Johnson was prompted to share her thoughts on Iowa icon Caitlin Clark.

In response, Johnson not only voiced her admiration for Clark but also underscored the positive impact the NCAA’s all-time leading scorer is having on women’s basketball as a whole.

“It’s good for the game. Caitlin Clark, say what you want, she’s a star,” Johnson affirmed. “America has gravitated to her and it’s only putting the women up more and more so I love it.

“It’s beautiful for me to see because I’m right in the middle of it. I got to share the court with her two times. She’s a good player. I love it. I think it’s going to give more opportunities for women like me coming up in the next era of college basketball.”

Across the nation, fans are commending Johnson for her supportive stance toward Clark.

Johnson’s talents are destined for the WNBA stage in due time. In the past season, she showcased her skills by averaging 14.9 points and 5.5 rebounds per game for LSU.

Meanwhile, Caitlin Clark is gearing up for her rookie season with the Indiana Fever, eager to make her mark in the professional realm.
