Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry showed off his range Friday night against the Cleveland Cavaliers, but it was all for not.
With the final seconds of the first quarter clock running down, Curry gathered a loose ball before swishing a shot from beyond half-court. While Curry's heave was remarkable, unfortunately, it came after the buzzer.

Friday was already a big night for Curry, who was presented with the Howard University Presidential Medal of Freedom pregame.

So far this season, the 34-year-old is playing at a high level for the Warriors. Heading into Friday night's contest against the Cavaliers, Curry is averaging career-highs in points (32.6) and rebounds (7.1), with 6.9 assists and 1.1 steals.
Curry and the Warriors broke a five-game losing streak on Monday, knocking off the Sacramento Kings, 116-113, improving to 4-7.
